"Helping people who help people"

I am coming to form some opinions on this group practice, shared website idea, both from when you pay to be listed on sites and use the profile space to “generically sell the office”, to the harm that comes in jumbling everyone together when each therapist has their own client with unique issues.

It reminds me of the general business model where therapists reap the benefits of being in a group but at some point if they do their own marketing well enough, the benefits of being IN the group are less than being OUT of the group. There are no right or wrong answers, but if you’re in a group practice, there are a lot of issues to address. Contact me and perhaps we could do some consulting on the phone with the office manager, receptionist (who probably does a lot of front line work and marketing assistance) and perhaps a therapist.
