Web Tip on FAQ pages

If you’re curious who reads the FAQ, in particular which questions, one suggestion is to have the list on whatever page, say your homepage or FAQ page, but EACH question gets its own page. You’d also want another page that links to ALL the questions and answers together so people don’t get annoyed.  (By the way, I am not a fan of FAQ pages, because 1) people who come to your homepage may not know if THEIR question is a FAQ, and 2) why not get those questions in your main content instead of making people go hunt down the FREQUENT questions everyone is asking?!

I did this little test of FAQ for my website (at the bottom of the homepage) and it’s fascinating how 3 or so of the questions pop out as highly read compared to the rest.  I don’t remember now which questions but it was and is interesting.
